Congrats Jenn and also "thank you" to everyone else who participated this month.
April's giftcard is up now as well. This month is a $25 gift card compliments of InisdeSMA.com
Our first giveaway is completed. We would like to congratulate Marcela Vallarino in winning the $100 iTunes gift card. Marcela submitted 8 reviews and has become the 3rd highest reviewer just behind Jennifer Lozina with 11 reviews.
The next round started on March 1st with another gift card giveaway. Each month we will have an iTunes card to giveaway from a different sponsor/advertiser. Persons who contribute apps or reviews are eligible to win that month's card. Each month may be different amount though. To see the amount, look at the top of the page in 'App Reviews'. Speaking of advertisers, if you know anyone who has a product or event to promote let them know that for the cost of an iTunes gift card they can have their ad displayed throughout the entire month. More details are here.
Please continue to share your reviews or applications. We had such a great opening month, and with this momentum, we hope to grow more in March. The more reviews and apps we have, the more helpful we are to families - and that what's this is all about.
There have been some great apps and reviews submitted this month. We'd like to draw attention to a few of them that stood out:
We have received the Tournez C-Clamp mount made by the Joy Factory. I unboxed it as was immediatly impressed at the build quality. Very rigid and over engineered so it felt as if it could hold 50 iPads. It comes pretty much assembled - all you need to do is attach the iPad holder to the arm piece. The first place we tried it out on was our LECKEY Squiggles chair. We mounted it between our tester's feet so we could load her into the chair easier. This was the first time we had ever played with the iPad without the bulky tray and our rigged contraption to keep the iPad from tipping over. It was amazing to see her immediately go to work on the iPad and being able to see her without that tray. We tightened each adjustment part of the Tournez and were amazed by the strength. There was no way our tester was going to move the ipad out of position. The Tournez nearly locks (that's probably the best was to describe it) into position once you tighten it down. I could literally lift up the front of the chair by pulling on the arm of the Tournez - which I did to get over the hardwood to rug transition in our home. So far we've just been getting acquainted to the Tournez and it's function. Tomorrow we attach it do the Thomashilfen EasyS stroller and run some positioning tests.
These are images from out the unboxing and initial test.
